How many sessions will I need?

Your therapist will help you understand the best number of sessions to start with. Typically, therapy can be broken down into three key categories:

  • Short-term therapy to treat specific symptoms (6-12 sessions)
  • Medium-term therapy to address more underlying issues (6-12 months)
  • Long-term therapy that’s particularly focused on the past and recurring issues (12 months)

However, the advantage of My Therapy Assistant is that you can design your therapy around your needs. Some people opt for ad-hoc sessions on an irregular basis, while others choose long-term therapy with no fixed end date.



What if I need to cancel an appointment?

If you need to cancel your session, you’ll need to provide at least 48 hours’ notice. If not, you will still be charged for the session.
